Carissa's Hen Party

I was in charge of the bachelorette party and I thought instead of the usual dress-up and embarrassing walk of shame that we would just stay in the house and party there! The theme was pajama party. 

Once all the girls arrived, we started dinner. Just like any sleep over we ate on the healthiest of foods like pizza, chips, tortilla chips and salsa, popcorn, and brownies. 

First, Carissa needed to be appropriately dressed!

And without further ado, I give you the beautiful bride! No, we did not put the do-rag on her head. That was put in place to keep her straightened hair, straight. 

 And the present opening begins!

After opening her presents, we played a video for Carissa. It was Jake answering questions from Ruby, Kirsten, and I about their relationship. Once a question was asked, the video was paused, and Carissa had to tell us what Jake's answer was. If she got the question wrong, she got beautified by Ruby!

Now this is where the real fun begins! We blindfolded Carissa and tied her hands behind her back. She had no idea what was going on or what was going to happen. 

While waiting for the unknown, she started practicing her Carmen Electra chair dancing skills...

And here is what happened next:

The end is the best because she still wasn't sure who it had been. I told Jake before he came in to leave her with something that would tell her it was him, so he left her with a rubber band that he always wears.  The end is the best because it takes her a few seconds to realize that it was really him!

And that was Carissa's hen party! Quite a success if you ask me!
