Right after my baby shower, I was able to go to Hawaii with my mom. She works for US Airways as a flight attendant and had a 2-day trip to Honolulu, so I decided to go along for the ride.
On the way there I go to fly first class because it was empty! Guess no one wanted to spend more $$$ to upgrade. Oh well, worked out great for me because I had all the room in the world and got a fancy breakfast! It made the 6 hour flight really pleasant. THANKS MOM!
Of course, I had to take a picture of my meal! Fruit, steal cut oats, and banana-nut bread. I am telling you, first class is the way to go! And when it's free, it's even better!
My view from the plane:
As soon as we got to the hotel, we headed to the beach. Luckily, the hotel we were staying at is only about a 3 minute walk from Waikiki beach.

32 weeks pregnant at the time:
On one of the days, we rented a kayak and paddled around Waikiki.
Off we go!
Posing in front of Diamond Head. Don't mind the belly...
Hanging out at the beach! It wasn't too hot temperature wise, but with the humidity it felt like it. We didn't last too long sitting on the beach before we were in the water to cool down.
We ate at almost all yummy places. The only place that was gross was some burger joint. I don't remember what it's called, but it's a restaurant upstairs on the main street in Waikiki. So if you go, don't eat at any burger places that are upstairs! Anyways, here is a list of food places worth going to in Waikiki:
Dukes -- amazing fresh fish tacos
Protea Cafe -- fresh guava juice and the best acai bowls
The Crepe House -- lots of sweet and savory crepes, we obviously got the ones filled with nutella. Then my mom bough chocolate covered nuts and added those in our crepes too. She has a bit of a chocolate addiction...
Then there is some shop that you can buy a salad bowl, and then they add whatever you want in it. That was really good too. I can't remember what it's called though!
So it's pretty safe to say that we ate some good food while we were there.

Making pigs of ourselves:
I decided Waikiki is pretty much like Vegas as far as the shopping goes. They have ALL the high end fancy stores. My mom had to pose in front of Tory Burch- one of our favourite window shopping stores!
And that's all the pictures I have! It was so much fun!
