5 Months

Well I can't believe my little Prince is almost a half year old! He is getting so big and strong and changing every day. 

- He loves his play mat. He kicks the piano at the end of it so hard, sometimes I think he might break it!

- He tries so hard to sit up when he's on his back. He'll even enlist the toys hanging from his play mat to help lift him up. Poor little abdominals just aren't quite strong enough for his fat body yet. 

- He smiles at everyone! Even the random strangers that kinda creep me out...

- He is such a happy baby 24/7 and still my big snuggle bug. He'll just melt into you while you're holding him. 

- He's starting to become a little bit of a mama's boy. Not sure I can avoid this considering we spend all day together. 

- He is still a champion feeder. Still breast fed only. We have his 6 month visit on March 1st and after that I think we'll start!

- He still isn't the best night sleeper, I've come to terms with this. It's ok, he's only going to be this small for so long and I'm just enjoying it!

- He has to be in a good mood for tummy time, not too soon after eating or else there will be some spit up!

- He still doesn't spit up really at all. Only when we play too hard too soon after eating. 

- He loves to stand and has strong legs. Reese is convinced he'll be standing before he's crawling. 

- He hates to roll over and refuses to do it by himself. 

- He loves to be outside. 

- He is ticklish everywhere. 

- He loves to talk and talk LOUD! It's so cute. 

- He loves singing time with me. He's currently love Beyonce's song "Girls".... my version of it anyways. :) 

- He loves to sleep on me, we are trying to get out of that habit though!

- He takes great naps in his crib and puts himself to sleep. We are working on that for the bedtime. 

- His fingers/hands/fists are ALWAYS in his mouth. He laughs, hand in mouth. He cries, hand in mouth. He gets a surprise, hand in mouth. 

- He loves bath time!

- He's loving trying to drink (water) out of my camelback water bottle. I think we're going to skip sippy cups and just get him a mini camelback!

He is such a little Prince. The perfect baby. Reese and I are so lucky to be his parents!

I'm 5 months!

But I don't want to roll over, you dumb!

 I'm mad at you. 

Lets see if I can sit up with my hand in my mouth. I just wish this head didn't weigh as much as the rest of my body. 

I love bath time. Forget the toys. I just need my hands. 

Am I melting your heart? Yes, I am! 

I love playing with my hands. Maybe if I do this long enough, I'll eventually get a grip on this thing coming out of that metal thing. 

I hate wearing pajama's that look like dresses. I am a BOY!

Putting myself to sleep. I am also teething pretty bad, so please excuse the slobber all over my face. Still no teeth, wait- what are teeth?
