1st Anniversary Trip Day Three

We started the day in Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd.

Found out that Michael Jackson is still alive and well...

And went into some of the cool shops along the boulevard.

From Hollywood, we drove to Santa Monica. Of course we had to go walk along the ever so famous pier.

First mistake of the day... We had fish and chips from a fast food place on the pier. Lets just say the money would have been better spent on beans.

Along with lunch, we had to share our picnic spot with germ infested birds. I felt like I was playing footies with someone with sharp toenails.

Then we spent the rest of the day laying on the beach, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the cool ocean breeze.

After much needed sun, we drove to Redondo Beach to stay at resort number 2.

Second mistake of the day... Underestimating the California sun and not applying the sun lotion evenly.

Good thing we were staying at such a fabulous hotel, or else we might have had the worst night sleep ever...
