Ok- so some of these photos are out of order. But I'm too lazy to fix them. But here is a rundown of our December.
We had such a great christmas this year! Ever since Ryder arrived, all holidays are extra special because he's experiencing them for the first time and as the years pass, he'll enjoy them more and more.
This picture pretty much sums up how the prince felt about all the holiday shenanigans- this year at least.
He's such a fat little chunk!
Somebody, anybody, save me!!!
And we finally got a little smile...
We got to spend Christmas with Reese's family this year. It was so great! His sister, Hillery, and her family came from Kentucky. Wyatt flew in from Utah. Jon and Triana drove in from New Mexico. A lot of fun was had! We had christmas morning at our house with lots of presents for everyone (mostly the kids). Triana bought her fancy waffle maker and Andy and Hillery made us the divine waffles with this yummy homemade syrup. I still need to get the recipes!
Once Ryder was up from his first nap (yes, when you have a baby, the world revolves around them) we opened presents!
Below you have Sadie, our official present-hander-outer.
We tried to get a decent shot of the 3 grandchildren. I don't know what we were thinking... At least Sadie is cooperating! :)
Falling baby alert!!!
This one is probably the best... If it weren't for Ryder deciding to wiggle out of Sadie's arms. Darn 4 month olds!
Wishing he was in normal clothes, with no hat, and not in his bumbo wumbo.
Ryder opening his first present with Sadie's help. Please notice Maddox making a beeline for the present...
I guess Sadie wasn't going fast enough. Spider man to the rescue!
My two RLS's
What a good cousin! Maddox helping Ryder open more presents.
Sadie digging into one of her gifts!
Maddox opening one of his.
"CARS CARS CARS"
Reese opening one of his presents from Father Christmas.... It was a box of cereal in case you were wondering. And yes, since we juice for breakfast in the morning, cereal around our house is a novelty. He also got a gift card to get a fancy man shave/facial at this barber shop.
The Prince in all his glory! This was the Sunday before Christmas. He was definitely a hit a church. Everyone loved baby santa. He wore this little outfit twice. Once to church and once christmas day. It cost me a total of $3.76 at Macy's on clearance though. Marked down from $40! Best $3.76 I ever spent!
Ho ho ho
He loves to laugh. And he loves to pull his chin back while he laughs creating a massive double chin. And his cheeks just hang. It is great!
Busy holidays= tired baby.
Love my little santa!
My two Christmas boys!
Reese must have taken this picture. Clearly not amused with the hat.
Our Christmas tree this year (with the lights off, apparently)!
Another Ryder/bumbo picture. I can't get enough of this squish!
Christmas morning smiles!
Ryder pretend sleeping while we wait for Reese to wake up!
Peek-a-boo!
He didn't sleep much the night before, so of course he's as happy as a clam! Of course...
Wake up Grandma and Grandpa!!!
This picture pretty much sums up Maddox! He is a tornado of a two year old. He just goes, goes, goes and is boy through and through. His love for cars is so cute too!
And some more attempts on getting a good cousin picture...
And of couse, Sadie is the only one cooperating. :)
My bright-eyed boy!
Reese surprised me with this ring for christmas! Isn't is stunning. The stone is peridot, Ryder's birthstone. I absolutely love it! He really spoiled me this year. Love my man!!!
Ryder in his present from Gran and Grandpa. We love the tripp trapp!
My squish!
Hating Sophie cause she's french...
Me and my boy!
Cheyennie in her present. Future professional tap dancer!
My little owl baby looking like a real prince thanks to his Aunty Laurel. We love you Lau!!!
Night time santa throwing punches. Wearing another beautiful, handmade hat from Laurel!
This was taken sometime during midnight and 5AM... you know... when normal people are sleeping!
Ryder and I went on an adventure to visit Dad at work. This was the first time I had even visited him at work/met his co-workers in Reese's 2 1/2 years of working at Lawlogix. The squish was a hit!
Helping daddy do work....
We also celebrated Reese's 27th birthday this year! Ryder and I bought him Phoenix Suns tickets.
The princess being all festive in my embarrassing christmas outfit.
Ending 2012 as a family of 3!
Our one date this month without the squish in tow...
The christmas tree in all it's beauty (lights on).
Of course we had to make the 1 minute trek to see the temple lights this year with Ryder.
On a date with mom and dad in Costco pajama's. We love Costco and pajamas.
This is what usually happens when Reese babysits... So cute!
His first ward christmas party!
Loving on his Canadian elk.
At his first basketball game with dad!
Family pic!
1AM pic! Handsome little guy, hey? :)
Saving his eardrums at the game...
Possibly warming up to Sophie?
Another one of those "I didn't sleep all night, but I'm so happy" pics.
A December afternoon lunch with Shay and baby B! Great times were had. Pizza and vegetables.
And I leave you with this final picture... Ryder and an Asian looking Father Christmas.
It was such a great month spent with friends, family, lots of food, and fun!
